Pandora bracelets, Luv it...

I was mesmerized by the Pandora bracelets when i was in Bali shopping. I came across this Pandora boutique in Seminyak area near my hotel and was very tempted to own one. But my friend encouraged me to get it in Singapore as it might be cheaper or on the airplane as sometimes, they may have bundle offer to its customers onboard their flight, i fly on KLM so maybe i'll take a look then when flying back. I knew what i wanted, the oxidised ones and not gold, silver or leather ones, although the leather ones do have some appeal on me! Maybe my next buy, who knows.

My experience with the Raffles City boutique was a good one. This lady SA was very helpful and searched around for the length that i wanted. She advised that you will need be able to slip in 2 fingers so that will help to gauge for that many beads to be inserted into the bracelet. She started to help me look for nice MANLY beads to be inserted into my bracelet. There were many trays of beads that she took out to let me have a look, there were so many beads and clips to choose from as well! One particular one that i chose was this big bead that i absolutely love it, it cost me a bomb....like S$230 for one with little cubic zirconia crystal spread all over in it. Wanted to get my initial "J" but sold out, the SA said this initial was quite popular and hence not enough stock, hence got my other initial "P" instead. Saw the animals as well, i got the cute doggy and Dolphin to go into my bracelet. I wanted to do a unique piece - funky, playful and yet manly enough for me! Did i achieve that look?

All in all, Luv it and maybe in future will get their necklace too...:P

Coach Bleecker Legacy Leather Weekend Tote

This Coach ocean colour Weekend tote is the best travel tote that one can get his hands on. Love the ocean colour and it really sports a summer look on anyone whom is carrying it. Actually, to tell the truth, i saw a friend of mine sporting this tote and i thought i must have this tote myself too. So the following day, i asked my ex-colleague to come and accompany me to the coach boutique in town to have a look.

Went to the DFS in Singapore as i have discount but they weren't carrying this line but the other line - business tote, which my colleague said that it looks like a aunty bag. Me also thought that this line really suits the aunties better hence, did not buy it, although i have a 20% discount. After dinner, we went down to the boutique in Wisma Atria being the largest Coach boutique shop in the whole of Singapore. Saw this line finally and bought it, the boutique also offers to emboss your Coach tags so i put on my surname as they said only can put in 3 characters.

Its actually really large, you can put in alot of things inside. You can bring it to your traveling, hit the gym probably or for me to work..:P My female colleagues commented that its too big and very girlish, i didn't care about their remarks as long as i'm happy. Never had a range of Coach bags and i thought this is the best time to have one right now! It comes with 2 years warranty!

Okay, I'm ending my post here, next Friday will be going to Bali for my holidays..

Taos Restaurant

Love this Tao's Restaurant for the nice and cozy atmosphere that it provides here in Singapore. Located down at the Central Mall, my frens and i decided to go and have a try at their dinner menu and once we reached, i chose a seat that is next to the window and a spectacular nice Singapore River front sight was just in sight for me.

Really nice and romantic for a couple to sit down and enjoy a nice pampered dinner served by their waiter and waitresses. Like their attentive service that the restaurant provides and most importantly water was always re-filled without demand unlike some of our local restaurants here in Singapore. Hope they maintain their standard.

They serve a fusion kinda of menu, or should say a mixture of both Asian and Western...A picture represents a thousand words, above you'll see the array of courses that we took, it was if i didn't remember wrongly, a 7-course dinner, starting with a nice drink to start off your dinner. I think i fell in love with their appetiser which is like served on a shallow metal plate with cheese and some other ingredients and crisp bread, you can refill your bread if you like it too...:P Next, comes our soup, main course and then our desserts. I must comment, their dessert was a served in a rather small cup though....

All in all, i grade them as a nice and cosy restaurant and attentive staff as well....bravo...:P

Exercise Regime starts today!

I've decided to go on my Exercise Regime from today onwards. I knew i didn't like to run or doing any other exercises but i do know that i like to swim. Swam ever since in School during those ECA days, on every Saturday have to turn up in the swimming pool. I actually learnt how to swim when in my younger days and thought that i might as well pick up this exercise again.

Actually, what got me into this exercise regime is that all my friends are either, running or doing their regular exercise in the Gyms around me. I thought of signing up in the Gym but on enquiry, its about SIN$850++ and i think that is a hefty sum to pay to make me exercise. Don't you think so? I'm worried that i might slouch out and then this money is going down the drain. So i decide against it. Then, i decided why not take up my swimming again, checked up the internet and the neighbourhood pool opens like Every Mon, Wed and Fri - 6.30am in the freaking morning. WOW.... was my exclamation on it.

Hence, decided to check it out this Monday Morning. Saw a bunch of aunties and uncles swimming but it alright, everyone has the right to swim in this public pool and its good to see people exercising as well, motivates one self to swim too...

Before this, over the weekend, i bought a new pair of goggles and a new pair of swim trucks. COOL rite? This is to reward me for making the determination to exercise again....how about you, have you started your exercise regime again today?

Warm Bodies

Nicholas Hoult was great in this movie - Warm Bodies, he did amazingly well with his zombie appearance and look!  Can't really recognise him and after that had dinner with my colleagues then they talked about the movie and that got me thinking that he was in the X'men movie in the character of the Beast.

But his acting in this zombie character aka "R" was really good.  He acted out the Zombie character with ease and comfort and that really made me think how he did it?  I think the make-up artiste did a great job as well, his skin colour, clothes and even his zombie eyes too.

He was kinda cute when he saw the lady character aka "Julie" trying to get out of her wet clothes and asking him not to watch her taking off her clothes.  So i really thought that scene was priceless...

Although its only an hour plus but i think there is a storyline to it : If what you believe in and continue to fight for it.  R the zombie thinks that the group of them are changing and he relentlessly went ahead to see Julie and her dad and trying to convince them that the zombies are changing too or becoming more human.

Catch it before its too late in the cinemas near you today!

Porter Bag Brief Case LUXY series

Hi Everyone, i've decided to get another Porter Bag - Luxy series brief case at this first quarter just to reward myself for going thru' this quarter and braving thru' the many challenges that i've faced during this first quarter and am happy that i did make it with the help from above and i just thought i'll reward myself with something not so expensive but durable and contemporary for work place.

And especially, i have a liking for all Porter stuff and hence decided to again storm Porter at Wisma Atria and see what they have in store for me! Actually, i saw some of my frens carrying the above but not in such squarish curves but more rounded in the bottoms if you get what i mean. I brought one of my close frens to choose with me and he said that the ones that my frens have is too girlie for me and when i carried this maureen coloured one, it kinda look right on me. I guess the first feelings of it was quite real for me and i thought this should be the right one for me!

Now the bag's features : it comes with two hand held handles for you to hold but you can't put it over your shoulders like a tote although, i would hope they did but nevermind, this will do. This bag also comes with a sling as well, so that you can sling it over your shoulder too or you can also hide it or remove it altogether. For me, i prefer to hide it into the side and when i need it, i just whip it out and use it - great feature though, nice Porter...:P

Next, you will see a zipper that will help secure your big items inside the bag. And once inside, you can see more inserts where you can store your smaller items like keys, handphones, sunglasses, etc... I put my Ipad 2 inside the bag, my trusty LV key pouch, home keys inside. Put my motorbike keys in the outer pockets for easier reach. The colour that i bought is Maureen red + dark navy. There are other colour variations like brown and black, if i'm not wrong, but i chose this colour as its the most vibrant among all three and i thought its nicer too, really brings out the personality of the person carrying it! While the hardwares are in gold colour really matches well with the entire bag. Bought this cute elephant bag charm from Bangkok Nara brand and decided to hang it on the zipper.

This bag is retailing at SGD $299 at Wisma Atria outlet for now! Porter international for your information comes from Taiwan and in this store, they have almost all of their series hence, one don't have to specifically fly to Taiwan to get it, better to buy in Singapore and immediately you can use it...:P

Okay, i shall end here....Happy browsing everyone...!

PS - the next one i'm aiming at will be the Hike and Bike series, quite nice, you can velcro your badges into the front flap which can be quite innovative and cute....:P

Jack the Giant Slayer

I actually enjoyed this movie quite a bit.  I believe you will too if you watched it!  Like the myths and legends of the Jack and the Beanstalk, here, Jack is to save the princess and the kingdom from the giants whom are staying up in the sky and waiting for the chance to come down to earth to destroy mankind and devour it!....

The giants here devour mankind and you can see how sick these giants are and they are the ugliest creatures that you can find as well.  I saw the harp in the movie, but it didn't sang any song or make music here but sat there lonely in the pile of treasures and gold which the giants plundered from mankind long ago.

If you are into myths and legends, this movie is a must to watch today!
