Ranting for someone else...

I saw this news on the paper that mentioned about an old uncle whom works in a local coffee-shop washing dishes for the coffee-shop. He was dismissed or fired and reason being he drank coffee from another coffee-shop!

Gosh, it really hit me and makes me thinking hard on this and it remained with me till now, which of coz, i translated it into here in my blog entry. Can you believe it that its still happening now in this era of time.

I remembered that i was faced with such a dilemma when i was at my previous company, you can't even eat your lunch with your new found colleagues whom just joined our company, you are always on the edge thinking when you will be the next one being fired because of some minor issues that you have done in the course of your job! We were even made to sign some documents that we were not supposed to divulge to anyone outside of the organisation. We weren't even allowed also to meet up with colleagues whom has resigned from this organisation, but being staff, we didn't cared and continued to meet up with our ex-colleagues over a meal outside and jokes were shared across the table of this rather funny issues that the company demanded of its staff.

This day when i saw this news from the paper, i was thinking about the kind of environment that i worked which was quite similar to that of the poor uncle that got sacked because of his drinking the competitor's coffee. I know that some companies do have an agreement with their staff that if they leave, they are not supposed to join their competitor for fear of losing vital information to them for a period of time, which was rather stupid and funny btw. LOL... If this is their rice bowl and their only profession is knowing their whole life doing this single thing, then i ask you, how???? Maybe, this will apply to very very very niche market out there....

Anyway, sorri uncle, i can't help you much but at least i can help you to vent your frustrations out here la...

Went to see this movie - "Red Cliff" by Mr John Woo. Mr Woo has many films produced under his belt but this one was rather good, i must say...LOL

Glad that i caught this movie which showed on how the past Chinese generals used their wits, wisdom and courage to fight a war against their enemies. War tactics were used frequently be it fought by the waters or on land.

A good command of the natural environment, knows how to foresee the stars in the sky and a must in the knowledge of the war tactics are the advantages that a country or general will have when fighting a real war. War are deadly as it meant peasants, soldiers die in the midst of the war. Such a character was played by my favourite actor - Takeshi Kaneshiro or Jin Cheng Wu. He played this character well, i must say and he was full of wits and wisdom as well, playing the character of Mr Zhuge Liang, advisor and faithful friend of Liu Bei.

The other characters were also really into the act too. This film has a good historical background and it spans over part 1 and 2. With part 1 gone and seen, i think the public will want to watch the other part 2 eagerly like me as well.

Ok, i'm gonna watch The Dark Knight next and will update again...

Have not gotten to see The Red Cliff or The Dark Knight either one yet. I think you know why lah.

I do really want to see The Red Cliff though. Very much the type of show I normally like.

Did you see Hancock? Saw it a week or so ago. Quite nice.
