I just got back from my trip in Bangkok and Pattaya. It was really fun and exciting coz' i did new things this trip. I opened my vision for greater things and have enjoyed every bit of my journey there.
If you've been following my posts, i wrote on what kind of services or stuff they sell in the budget terminal. Actually, if you are health conscious or Kia Su or stingy... you can actually get a water bottle in without water and fill it up with water from the water cooler near the toilet.
You can actually bring into the flight as there is no scanning of your carry-on bags again. I didn't actually do it but i will the next round...:) The flight to Bangkok was alright, the same no frills applies for Tiger Airways as well. I didn't purchase anything in-flight services from them at all!
While coming back, i had this unusual incident that happened to me. The fateful incident happened on the 4th October 2008 which coincidentally its also my birthday and hence a belated birthday to me!!!
Ok, back to the story. We the passengers will have to walk back to the terminal as there are no damn air-bridge to connect into the terminal. Hence, if its raining, normally, the ground staff will provide us ponchos, but this night it was a fair sky. After clearing a zig-zag passage way, we finally reached the customs and immigration counter.
I used the automated customs and immigration counter and was out in minutes. I then proceeded to buy some liquor for my dad in the DFS. Its usually cheaper than what the outside is selling and i also bought some beer for him too. All in all, its only less than $80 dollars for a bottle of Remy Martin Liquor and a few cans of tiger beer. I then proceeded to use the toilet which is next to the DFS and after finishing my biz while at the door-way of the toilet, i saw the immigration and customs officer waving at me.
There is this scanning black machine which is placed at the exit area and every passenger must scan all their bags before they are allowed to leave the premises. I did what i was told and without looking back at all left the whole premises and took a cab back home. The time was already closing to mid-night.
About half way thru' the my journey back home, i suddenly realise SOMETHING!
I thought of asking the taxi-driver to turn around and go back to the terminal but it was already too late, as we were on the expressway and there isn't any exit till well, much much further away...
I was in the state of SHOCK AND DIS-BELIEF that i could have done such a thing in my life. And its my very first time that such an incident happened to me!

My brown check-in luggage bag was lying in the far corner of the office. I signed some papers and proceed to leave the building...
I thank the Lord that i found my bag and hopefully, there aren't such incidents again in the near future...(WINKS...)
PS - A big thank-you to the Tiger Airways ground staff for their help in keeping my bag safe...

I was devastated and angry with myself, how i could have missed my check-in luggage and left it there. Luckily, there aren't any expensive items in my bag and hence if its lost, it still can be replaced. But my poor bag, i just bought it not long ago....
