This day i went to visit my ex-boss! Actually, to pass him some of the Penang Goodies that i bought the other day, this has been a habit of mine, whenever, i go overseas, i sure to bring back some goodies for him and my god-sister as well! This time is no exception, bought him some Penang famous tao sha piah.
This morning, mum suddenly wanted to cook lao shu fen or mice noodles. My friends used to buy this for me, if i were to fall sick, coz it can be easily digested in the stomach when one is sick and has no appetite.
I ate some of her big pot of mice noodles before going out to meet my boss this afternoon for lunch! Can you imagine after mice noodles, and one hour later, eat lunch again...:) Very full, boy..........LOL
Anyway, met my boss for lunch at the Queenstown hawker centre, i suddenly, had this urge of eating Yong Tao Hu Laksa. But this time round, it didn't taste that yummy or delicious, maybe coz i had eaten something already, and hence, not hungry and hence, didn't feel that it is nice anymore! At least, it didn't taste any salty at all? I prefer my food to be abit salty though...:) This time round was bland and oily...but the Yong Tao Hu liao was still nice and fresh!
It seems like alot of big companies are retrenching and closing down factories and cutting down their manpowers everywhere... Accidentally, i told my boss if my company were to cut down on the hours of work each day or per week, can i come back to work part-time? And he said, "YES"...........Woohooo........., thank God for Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild. I continued to ask him if i were to be retrenched, can i come back to work? He said, "Of course, you are a all rounder"... I replied to him that i don't mind doing any job, so long as i don't have to wash the toilet...:)
The end...
XOXO...
