While you alight at the Suzhou station be prepared to be pestered by their local people trying to sell to you or promoting their mini vans for a sum of money can bring you the whole day. Hence be careful coz some of frens were conned by them, promising to bring them to their destination but the driver will bring you else where which is quite frustrating.
My frens were actually scolding them to back away and telling them we do not want their service. We boarded a taxi to our first destination - The Humble Administrator's Garden.
Altogether the water lilies are not blooming this time round while we are there, i still managed to get some good pixs though. Just a short 15mins ride to our destination here from the train station. Very near though, less than 50RMB, best to share a cab, that way you can save some $$$.
Entrance to this garden will cost you 70RMB which is around 14SIN dollars. Temperature while we were there was just fine and nice. The garden itself was huge and consist of many beautiful pavilions, houses and lots of shrubs, trees, bridges, willows and stone sculptures, not forgetting plenty of streams and lakes as well.
I wonder what is it like to be here in the summer or winter time? But since we are here, we wandered around the garden premises and took many pixs as well. Lots of tourist are there as well to soak in the atmosphere from here.
This place is really nice and refreshing and since its my first time, i throughly enjoyed my time here.
Next, we proceeded to The Tiger Hill. Entrance fee to this place cost 60RMB. This place is very very touristy meaning you can see alot of tourist plus alot of hawkers selling their wares. Comparing with the garden above, i would still prefer the garden than Tiger Hill.
But if its your first time like me, then take time and visit this place too.
Again, plenty of houses, shrubs, trees and stones.....
Okay, let the random pixs do the talking.
