I tried taking my food pictures in the Super Macro Mode with my newly acquired Olympus Stylus Tough 8010.
My family and I decided to go to our nearby coffeeshop for a seafood dinner.
We ordered their speciality - Salted Egg Crab. It was really delicious but a tad too salty... Followed by my all time favourite or i think its a all time favourite of all Singaporeans - our very own style Singapore Chilli Crab.
If you want prices that are not exorbitant but nice and tasty crabs, then this coffeeshop, you must come and visit, its at blk 516, Woodlands Dr 14. I heard from my fren, its a franchise Sze Char outlet. But i have been there for a few times and i think the taste is still the same.
We also ordered Cereal Prawns, really tasty too, i think its the best so far....
My mum was craving for Tian Ji or Frogs, its a speciality in Singapore and if you travel to this part of the world, you must try it. We ordered the Gong Bao Ji Ding Tian Ji..... its sweet and yet spicy....we all love it for its the first time we tried it here.
We went there before 7pm and we got some good seats, if you are there later, you might not be able to get a good seat, hence, go early.....
All in all, we spent a sum of $113 for a total of 5pax and we thought it was a good and worthy meal. Good way of spending time with your folks over dinner and talking and chatting over what has been going on in your life, that is how we Singaporeans bond together over a simple meal, how about you?... :)
